Product Overview:
The poor boy degasser is a special equipment for the primary degassing of gas intrusion drilling fluids, and it is a very useful mud gas separator.The liquid-gas separator is used in conjunction with the choke manifold to separate the free gas in the drilling fluid, and can be used for underbalanced drilling and the treatment of drilling fluid containing hydrogen sulfide gas.

Poor boy degasser, also known as atmospheric pressure hydrogen sulfide-proof drilling fluid liquid-gas separator is made of high-quality materials, which can effectively prevent the erosion of harmful gases and ensure the safe production of man and machine. Poor Boy Degasser Features
1. The poor boy degasser uses bottom drainage to control the working liquid level to ensure a constant liquid level in the separator and solve the problem of sand accumulation in the tank at the same time;
2. There is a special channel for gas separation in the liquid-gas separator tank, and the gas is emptied smoothly, which improves the gas treatment effect;
3. The liquid-gas separator adopts a combination of centrifugal separation, physical shock separation, vacuum separation and other separation technologies to ensure the gas separation effect;
4. Each bend of the liquid-gas separator supply pipe is equipped with a buffer device and a replaceable impact-resistant baffle is installed, which can be regularly inspected and replaced according to the wear and tear, which prolongs the service life of the equipment;
5. Liquid-gas separator anti-sulfur-type liquid-gas separator is manufactured and treated with special materials as a whole, which can completely prevent the damage of equipment by hydrogen sulfide gas in the gas.
Mud Gas Separator Working Principle`
The gas intrusion drilling fluid from the liquid-gas separator enters the separator tangentially from the liquid inlet of the separator, falls on a series of specially designed internal baffles along the inner wall, collides, increases the exposed surface area, and flows downward, causing turbulent flow. Separate the gas from the drilling fluid. The free gas is discharged through the gas outlet on the top of the tank. The length of the exhaust pipe is determined and equipped on site and led to a safe place. The degassed drilling fluid is discharged into the circulation tank.
