Desilter cyclone
Common cyclone sizes for desilter include 4 inch (4") and 5 inch (5") cyclones. The desilter cyclone is mainly used in drilling fluid solid-liquid separation systems to separate finer solid phase particles with a particle size between 15 and 44 microns in drilling fluid.

The function of the desilter is to further process the drilling fluid treated by the desander, and separate the smaller solid particles from the liquid. Smaller size desilter cyclones (such as 4 inches and 5 inches) are suitable for handling fine solid particles to ensure the cleanliness and stability of drilling fluid.
By using
desilter cyclones of different specifications, the desilter can efficiently remove finer solid particles in the drilling fluid, thereby further optimizing the performance of the drilling fluid. This helps to reduce the content of solid particles, improve the cleanliness of drilling fluid, and provide better working conditions for drilling operations.
