Sludge vacuum pump, also known as solid conveying pump or cuttings conveying pump, is a pneumatic vacuum conveying pump with high load and strong suction. It can pump solid, powder, liquid and solid-liquid mixture and many other materials. The vacuum degree is as high as 25 inches of mercury (vacuum degree 85Kpa), and the head of the discharged water reaches 80 meters. Its unique structural design enables it to work in particularly harsh environments with low maintenance, and can transport materials with a solid phase exceeding 80% and materials with high specific gravity at high speed. It is a high-load and strong-suction pneumatic vacuum pump developed for the transportation of solid-liquid materials in the current environmental protection field, which truly solves the problem of suction and transportation of solid particles, solid-liquid mixtures, powders and other materials. In the petroleum industry, it is often used for the transportation of drilling cuttings, the transportation of oily sludge, the cleaning of tanks, the long-distance transportation of waste suction, and the transportation of minerals and waste.

Working principle of sludge vacuum pump

When the compressed air passes through the pump body under pressure, a high vacuum will be generated in the pump tank, and the material will enter the pump tank through the suction line. After a few seconds, the valve will reverse the direction of the airway, creating a positive pressure inside the pump tank, forcing the material out of the pump tank through the discharge line. The HLSP-40A model can work in manual mode and automatic mode, and the two models HLSP-10A and HLSP-20A can only work in automatic mode. Since it does not require electricity but only needs compressed air, HL solid vacuum pumps can be safely used in industries with explosion-proof requirements such as oil and gas and coal.
