How to install the drilling mud agitator?
When installing the drilling
mud agitator, make sure that the equipment is lifted horizontally and placed on the installation position stably. Connect the agitator to the tank with 4 M16 bolts, and tighten the fixing bolts to ensure that the agitator is stable.
The connecting bolts of the rigid coupling must be equipped with spring washers and tightened to prevent the deflection of the pulsator shaft and reduce the wear or bearing damage of the worm gear/worm pair in the reducer.
Usually, when the depth of the mud tank is equal to or greater than 2400mm, auxiliary support (commonly known as "stabilizer") will be attached. When installing the centralizer, put it on the lower end of the pulsator shaft, and after connecting the bolts of the driving disc and the driven plate, evenly adjust the radial clearance between the inner hole of the centralizer sleeve and the outer circle of the cantilever end of the pulsator shaft. Finally, weld the lower parts of the three supporting ribs firmly to the bottom of the tank. If the bottom of the mud tank is an inclined floor, it is necessary to add a correction block between the support rib of the centralizer and the inclined floor, so that the inner hole of the upper sleeve of the centralizer is on the same axis as the wave wheel shaft as much as possible.
After the installation is completed, ensure that the drilling
mud agitator is powered on and running without any abnormal phenomena such as abnormal noise, sticking, and excessive temperature of the reducer. If an abnormality is found, stop the machine immediately to check the cause, and then restart after troubleshooting. It is important to maintain the safe operation and performance of the equipment.
