Swivel Type Mud Gun Details
The swivel type mud gun is a solids control equipment for oil drilling fluids produced by Xi'an HL Petroleum Equipment, which is different from many other solids control equipment. The swivel type mud gun is independently designed and produced by our company, which can perfectly combine and coordinate the various solid control systems, so that the entire solid control system becomes a unified whole. 
The swivel type mud gun produced by our company are designed and manufactured for different drilling rigs' mud solids control systems. They are mainly used in drilling fluid mud solids control systems. They are divided into three types: low pressure, medium pressure and high pressure; rotary mud guns are matched with sand pumps and mud pumps, and the equipment can also be used with the drilling fluid mud shear pump. It is mainly a special tool to prevent mud from settling in the drilling mud tank. The swivel type mud gun produced by our company has good spraying effect and large cleaning area. It is an extremely rare product among similar products on the market. The device has simple structure, flexible operation and convenient use, making it an ideal solid control device.

The effective diameter of the low pressure nozzle is 5-9ft, which is determined by the density, viscosity and nozzle speed of the drilling fluid. The nozzle size and feed pressure of the mud gun determine how much liquid will pass through the nozzle at what speed. More liquid passes through the nozzle to produce more circulating liquid, and the greater the speed, the greater the shear force generated.
Swivel Type Mud Gun Nozzle Installation
Bernoulli equation can be used to describe the relationship between pressure and speed. The high-pressure liquid leaves the nozzle at high speed, where the pressure head is converted to velocity. HL Petroleum Equipment installs nozzles in ejectors with multiple suction ports. The ejector plays the role of a mixing chamber and a diffuser, guiding the swirling flow out of the ejector, the liquid is pumped into the center nozzle, and the nozzle then draws the fluid through the diversion port on the side.
The use of this type of mud gun nozzle by HL Petroleum increase the amount of moving fluid, which is 4 times the amount of liquid delivered by conventional nozzles.
