    Circular Shale Shaker and linear Shale Shaker

    There are many classifications of Shale Shaker. According to the movement trajectory of materials, they can be divided into circular Shale Shakers and linear screens. Both types are commonly used screening equipment in daily production. There is no essential difference in the style and structural composition of circular Shale Shakers and linear Shale Shakers. Materials are screened through vibration of the screen surface, but the difference in vibration trajectories will directly affect the screening purpose.

    Circular Shale Shaker
    The motor drives the eccentric block of the vibrator through a triangle belt to rotate at high speed, generating a large centrifugal inertial force, which excites the screen box to produce a circular motion of a certain amplitude. The materials on the screen are moved by the impulse transmitted by the screen box on the inclined screen surface. A continuous throwing motion is produced, and when the material meets the screen surface, particles smaller than the screen hole are allowed to pass through the screen, thereby achieving classification.

    The vibration motor is used as the vibration source to cause the material to be thrown up on the screen and move forward in a straight line at the same time. The material enters the feed port of the screening machine evenly from the feeder and produces several specifications of screens through the multi-layer screen. The upper material and the lower material are discharged from their respective outlets.

    Comparison of the differences between circular Shale Shaker and linear Shale Shaker

    1. Movement trajectory
    The materials on the circular Shale Shaker move in a circular motion, while the materials on the linear Shale Shaker move forward in a straight line.

    2. Vibrator
    The circular Shale Shaker is also called a single-axis Shale Shaker because the exciter is a shaft and uses an inertial motor to work. The linear Shale Shaker exciter consists of two axes and works on the principle of vibration motor excitation, so it is also called a double-axis Shale Shaker. Shaft Shale Shaker.

    3. Hole blocking phenomenon
    The materials of the circular Shale Shaker move in a parabolic circular trajectory on the screen surface, which disperses the materials as much as possible and improves the material's bouncing ability. Materials stuck in the screen holes can also jump out, reducing hole blocking.

    4. Installation layout
    Due to the small inclination angle of the screen surface of the linear Shale Shaker, the height of the screen is reduced, which facilitates process layout.

    5. Screen surface inclination angle
    According to the particle size of the material, the circular Shale Shaker can change the inclination angle of the screen surface, thereby changing the movement speed of the material along the screen surface and increasing the throughput of the screen machine. Generally speaking, the screen surface inclination angle of linear Shale Shaker in production is small.

    6. Material
    Generally speaking, the plates used in the production of circular Shale Shakers are thicker, and the box is made of manganese steel to resist the impact of materials during the screening process. The linear Shale Shaker is mainly made of lightweight plates or stainless steel plates.

    7. Applicable fields
    Circular Shale Shakers mainly screen materials with heavy specific gravity, large particles and high hardness. They are widely used in mining, coal, quarry plants and other mining industries.

    Linear screens mainly screen fine particles, materials with light specific gravity and low hardness, mainly dry powdery, fine granular or micro-powder materials. They are usually widely used in the food, chemical, building materials and pharmaceutical industries.

    8. Processing capability
    For circular Shale Shakers, since the vibrator is arranged above the center of gravity of the screen box, the elliptical long axes at both ends of the screen box form a downward splay, and the upper end of the elliptical long axis at the feed end faces the discharge direction, which is conducive to the rapid discharge of materials. Spread out, and the upper end of the long axis of the ellipse at the discharge end is against the discharge direction, which reduces the movement speed of the materials and facilitates the penetration of difficult-to-screen materials. The arc-shaped screen surface increases the effective area of the screen machine, thereby improving its processing power.

    In addition, for materials that are difficult to screen, the circular Shale Shaker can flip the main shaft, so that the vibration direction is opposite to the movement direction of the material, and the movement speed of the material along the screen surface is reduced (when the inclination angle of the screen surface is the same as the main shaft speed) to improve screening efficiency.

    9. Environmental protection
    The linear Shale Shaker can adopt a fully enclosed structure without dust spillage, which is more conducive to protecting the environment.
