1. Replace the screen:
The processing capacity of each Shale Shaker is 50L/s. This is because the conditions for the processing capacity test are based on the national standards: select a 60-mesh screen and test the mud with a specific gravity of 1.8. The viscosity of the mud is that the mud contains different particle sizes. river sand. Due to the rapid drilling of the surface layer, a large amount of solid phase is produced and occupies the effective screen area, so the Shale Shaker cannot use fine screens in shallow well sections. Therefore, screens with larger holes should be used in the early stages of drilling, and gradually finer screens should be used as the drilling depth increases.
Because the drugs added in the drilling fluid are not fully dissolved and stuck on the screen, serious mud leakage will occur. You should wait until the drug is fully dissolved before use, or use a larger-pore mesh. In another situation, when drilling into a loose sandstone layer or quicksand layer, the sand particles are easily stuck in the screen holes, causing screen clogging. Therefore, it is necessary to test several screens with different mesh sizes to reduce screen clogging.
2. Check the motor
First, remove the vibrator shield and check whether the eccentric blocks of the two motors rotate outward. Secondly, if the direction of rotation is wrong, please exchange any two phase wires in the incoming power supply of the electric control box. 3. Check the amplitude of the Shale Shaker:
The larger the vibration amplitude, the greater the processing capacity. The vibration force is adjusted to 90% at the factory. 4. Check the liquid flow distribution
For a Shale Shaker with a hook-edge screen structure, the screen surface on both sides is lower than the middle, and mud easily flows to both sides and escapes. It should be ensured that the mud enters the screen frame from the middle. At this point, two options can be adopted. The first is to adjust the front spring seat to appropriately raise the angle of the front of the screen box; the second is to adjust the position of the flip plate of the extension slot to control the liquid flow distribution.
