HJB series drilling mud mixer is a drilling fluid tank-type solids control equipment composed of a reducer and an explosion-proof motor, which mainly used for mud mixing, easy maintenance, suitable for use in harsh field conditions. The stirring intensity is large, the sweeping range is wide, and the starting resistance torque is reduced. The pulsator is welded by 4 blades, and the pulsator can make the stirring liquid produce vortex motion, thus enhancing the stirring effect. The tray sandwiched between the blades can also prevent the solid phase particles of mud from depositing around the lower blades after shutdown, so the use of this can reduce the resistance torque of the sediment to the blades when starting, thus avoiding the overload of starting and burning the motor.

The function of drilling mud mixer

The drilling mud mixer is a mud solids control system for continuous and reliable drilling of the drilling fluid in order to maintain the uniformity of the drilling fluid and suspend the solid phase particles. Drill cuttings are a major component of the harmful solid phase. To remove harmful solids, they must be suspended and then injected into desanders, desilters and centrifuges. Useful solid phases, such as various weighting materials (hematite powder, barite powder) and a small amount of bentonite, also need to be uniformly suspended to keep the density and other properties of the drilling fluid stable. Therefore, it is required that the drilling fluid agitator can work continuously and reliably to avoid the precipitation of the solid phase.

The drilling mud agitator is mainly used for the stirring and mixing of the drilling fluid to prevent the solid phase particles of the drilling fluid from depositing in the tank circulation system, so that the performance of the circulating drilling fluid is stable and the mixing is uniform. In order to maintain the uniform properties of the drilling fluid and suspend the solid phase particles, it is necessary to install an agitator on the circulating large tank. Agitation plays a very important role in accelerating the reaction, dissolution and wetting of drilling fluid materials (such as bentonite, barite), chemical additives. Agitation increases the contact area between the phase interfaces, allowing the two phases to interact at a greater rate.
