Shear Mud Mixing Device

Hello, everyone, today we’d like to introduce our HHQ series shearing and mixing device, which is used in oil drilling, subway shield construction, tunnels and trenchless horizontal directional drilling construction. They are mainly used to shear high molecular polymers in drilling fluids and improve the performance of drilling fluids.

This device is mainly composed of a shear pump, a jet mixing hopper and manifold valves, and is equipped with an electrical control box. The shear pump seal adopts a very reliable mechanical seal to ensure no leakage. The pump is equipped with a stainless steel turbine and a shear plate, which can generate a liquid shear of more than 25.4m/s. When the liquid flows through the shear pump, half (50%) of the liquid is strongly pushed by the turbine collection chamber will be cut twice. An HHQ150 mixing hopper of suitable size is also used in conjunction with the shearing pump, thus forming a complete shearing and hydration system. Due to the improvement of the pump shaft seal, its service life is greatly improved.

Using this shear mixing device can reduce the amount of polymer by more than 15%, and bentonite by more than 30%, and improve the loss of mud cake and liquid flow, reduce the shear ratio rate of drilling fluid, also increase the gel strength, which has reached the advanced level of similar foreign products, and is an ideal drilling fluid configuration equipment.
