Centrifugal sand pump is a special type of centrifugal pump. It is the power source of desander, desilter and slurry mixing device in drilling fluid solids control system equipment.

Since the medium of the pump is drilling fluid, and the drilling fluid is a suspension containing a large number of solid particles and various chemical additives, the impeller and volute material of the centrifugal sand pump are required to have sufficient wear resistance and corrosion resistance At the same time, the shaft end seal is required to be very reliable.

At the same time, due to the particularity of the medium and liquid, the internal seal is often damaged, which affects the life and pump efficiency. Therefore, it is required to adjust the gap between the impeller and the front guard plate more conveniently to reduce internal leakage.

In addition, a very important issue is that the flow and pressure of the centrifugal sand pump should match the hydrocyclone properly, otherwise, the hydrocyclone will not work properly.
