What is the difference between swirl hopper and jet hopper?

It is mainly composed of nozzle, mixing chamber, Venturi tube, feeding funnel and butterfly valve. The jet pipe is a Venturi pipe. One end of the pipeline is equipped with a nozzle to pump high-speed drilling fluid that is discharged from the nozzle. After the speed is converted into a pressure head, a low pressure area is generated near the nozzle discharge port, and the low pressure sucks the material around the jet pipe into the jet liquid. Into the Venturi tube, the Venturi tube is a hollow tube that gradually expands according to a certain curved surface. Its main function is to increase the shear force of the liquid in the tube, so that the material can be better dispersed and the liquid pressure head after mixing.
Swirl drilling fluid mixing hopper
It is mainly composed of a feeding funnel, a butterfly gate valve, an outer mixing cylinder, an inner mixing cylinder and a swirling volute. Use the mixing pump to pump the drilling fluid to be mixed into the swirling volute along the tangential direction. The high-speed rotating liquid in the volute generates a vacuum, and the mixture is sucked in and mixed with the high-speed rotating liquid flow and then enters the mixing drum. In the inner cavity, the high-speed rotating fluid stream further fully mixes the material and the liquid, and then enters the outer cavity, and is removed in the tangential direction to complete a cycle of mixing process to prepare a drilling fluid that meets the performance requirements.
So, how to distinguish between these two hoppers?
First of all, the appearance is very different, and the working principle is also different.
Appearance: The jet mixer is a new type of jet ejector device that combines a hopper, a butterfly valve, a mixing cylinder, a venturi tube, and a jet nozzle. The swirl mixer is composed of a volute, a hopper, a butterfly valve, and a mixing cylinder.
Working principle: The swirl mixer sand pump pumps the liquid to be mixed into the swirl volute, the high-speed rotating liquid flow is mixed and then enters the liquid cylinder, the high-speed rotating flow is further mixed with the liquid, and then enters the outer cavity , and then discharged along the tangential direction to complete a cycle of mixing process.
Since the swirl mixer has no nozzles, it can be used to mix plugging materials.
