ZJ90 Solids Control System Assists in Ultra-Deep Well Drilling Project in Ningxia

HL Petroleum's ZJ90 drilling rig solids control system was recently put into operation at the Ningxia Oilfield, marking a crucial step forward in its application in ultra-deep well drilling.

Addressing common problems in current ultra-deep well drilling rig solids control systems, such as unreasonable system layout, insufficient mud tank capacity, excessively long pipelines leading to reduced pump efficiency, poor mud fluidity, and inadequate weighted mixing systems, HL Petroleum, drawing on its experience with solids control systems for 5000-meter and 7000-meter drilling rigs both domestically and internationally in recent years, conducted in-depth research and comprehensive optimization, ultimately designing and developing the ZJ90 drilling rig solids control system.

The system comprises 14 mud tanks, 5 HDS6216 double-layer mud shale shakers, 1 HCQ270 vacuum degasser, 1 HQJ250×3-100×16 mud cleaner, 1 medium-speed centrifuge, 1 high-speed variable frequency centrifuge, as well as a jet mixing operating system, related auxiliary equipment, an explosion-proof electrical control system, and oil and water tanks.

The mud tanks feature a rounded bottom design, which not only helps prevent sand settling, enhances the mixing effect of the agitator, reduces dead corners within the tank, and facilitates sand removal, but also increases the effective volume and facilitates the layout and transport of external pipelines. While ensuring the configuration of a conventional circulation system, the system has sufficient reserve capacity, allowing the drilling fluid in the tanks to participate in circulation or meet well control requirements at any time.

The entire solids control system is designed in accordance with the drilling rig's layout and overall design requirements, strictly adhering to standard drilling fluid treatment processes, and can fully meet the special requirements of solids control systems for 9000-meter ultra-deep well drilling in Ningxia.
