The cyclone desander is an important equipment in the drilling fluid solid phase control system, which belongs to the second-level solid control equipment, and is used to stabilize and adjust the technical indicators of the drilling fluid. According to the diameter of the cyclone, the desander can be divided into a cyclone desander and a cyclone desilter. Generally, a combination of swirl diameters above 8 inches (about 203 mm) is called a desander. Commonly used cyclones have diameters of 8 inches, 10 inches and 12 inches.
