Precautions for using mud agitators
Precautions for using mud agitators:
1. Check whether the selection of mud agitators is correct and whether the actual use conditions are consistent with the specified use conditions.
2. The cables of the agitator motor in the mud chamber are protected by hard steel pipes and metal hoses to ensure the sealing of the pipe connections.
3. Use a 0-500V megohmmeter to check that the insulation resistance of the three-core wire of the motor main cable to the ground shall not be less than 5 megohms. It is forbidden to use a megohmmeter to check the control cable to avoid damaging the electrical components inside the submersible agitator. Instead, use a multimeter to check the control cable.
4. If the power supply is far away from the use distance of the mud agitator, considering the line loss, the cross-sectional area of the cable should be increased, the joints should be as few as possible, and the joints should be sealed to prevent water leakage.
5. The power cable, grounding wire and control cable on the mud agitator should be connected one by one with the terminal of the control cabinet (box).
6. The grounding wire of the mud agitator is a two-color wire (yellow/green). To ensure safety, it must be firmly connected and 50mm longer than other wires.
7. There are 4 control cables for the agitator, 3 thin and 1 thick. Use a multimeter to measure the continuity. Among the 3 thin cables, 2 are connected as temperature measurement signal cables, and the disconnected cable and the two-color cable are leakage signal cables.
8. Before the final installation of the mud agitator, face the impeller direction and the impeller rotates counterclockwise. If the rotation direction is incorrect, you can change the rotation direction by swapping the positions of any two of the three-phase cables on the control cabinet or terminal box. If several mud agitators are connected to a control cabinet or terminal box, each mud agitator must be checked separately.
9. After closing the switch, the agitator cannot be started immediately. The mud agitator should be self-checked through the control system. If a fault is found (flash alarm or alarm alarm appears on the electric control cabinet), the fault should be checked and eliminated before starting. If the motor does not rotate, the switch should be pulled quickly and decisively. The fault should be checked and eliminated to avoid damage to the motor.
10. After the agitator is started, the motor and line voltage meter and ammeter should be carefully observed. If there is any abnormal phenomenon, the machine should be stopped immediately to find out the cause. The machine can be restarted only after the fault is eliminated.
11. Several mud agitators cannot be started at the same time. They should be started and stopped one by one.
12. Mud agitators are prohibited from running for a long time with empty tanks.
