HL mud gun: specialized equipment for oilfield mud circulation

Mud gun is a specialized equipment in the oilfield drilling mud circulation system designed to prevent mud settlement. It can be powered by a mud pump or a jet mud mixing device. Manufactured by Xi'an HL, the mud gun is specifically designed for drilling mud solid control systems and is primarily used in the drilling mud circulation system in conjunction with mud agitators. Its main application is to address the dead angles formed at the tank bottom and wall connection, effectively preventing mud settling through high-pressure rotating jetting. Mud guns are available in three pressure levels: high, medium, and low.

High-pressure mud guns use a branch flow from the drilling pump with pressure levels typically ranging from 1 to 6 MPa. On the other hand, medium and low-pressure mud guns are supplied with mud through a centrifugal sand pump, with pressure levels around 0.2 to 0.3 MPa.
