The working principle of the vacuum degasser is to use the suction effect of the vacuum pump to create a negative pressure area in the vacuum tank. Under the action of atmospheric pressure, the mud enters the hollow shaft of the rotor through the suction pipe, then the main motor drives the rotor to rotate at a high speed and the gas-immersed mud coming from the suction pipe is thrown to the tank wall. Due to the collision and the action of the separation wheel, the drilling fluid is separated into thin layers, so that the bubbles immersed in the mud are broken and the gas escapes. Through the suction of the vacuum pump and the gas and water after the separation of the separator, the gas is discharged from the exhaust pipe of the separator to a safe area, and the mud is discharged from the tank by the impeller.
