1. The mud gun is a hydraulic mixer that stirs mud through high-speed jets.

1) The function of the mud gun is to rely on the high-speed liquid flow generated by the nozzle of the gun body to impact the solid phase deposited at the bottom of the drilling fluid storage tank to suspend it. At the same time, when the agitator stops for a period of time, the deposited solid phase buried the impeller and needs to be restarted, the drilling fluid gun can eliminate part of the resistance torque when the agitator is started, and provide a reliable guarantee for the normal operation of the agitator.

2) The drilling fluid gun is divided into high and low pressure. The high pressure gun is supplied by the drilling pump with a pressure level of 1 ~ 6 MPa, and the low pressure gun is supplied by a centrifugal sand pump with a pressure level of 0.2 ~ 0.3 MPa. How many mud gun needed depends on the number of agitators.

2. The mud agitator is a stirring device that suspends the solid particles in the drilling fluid and avoids precipitation through the stirring impeller.

The mud agitator keeps the performance of the drilling fluid stable, so the drilling fluid discharged from the agitator impeller must make the rising speed of the suspended matter in the tank faster than the settling speed, so the working volume of the agitator given the impeller diameter and rotation speed is constant. The time for the agitator to circulate the drilling fluid once in its working volume is called the cycle time. According to relevant foreign information, the circulation time is generally 30 ~ 90s.

In the solid control system, the drilling fluid storage tank where the solid control device such as vibrating screen is placed needs to settle sand, so the cycle time should take a large value, while other drilling fluid storage tanks and water tanks on the drilling pump should take a small value to ensure Stable drilling liquid performance. Usually a cycle time of 60s is used as the basis for setting the number of stirrers.
