Oilfield drilling agitator use and maintenance
In oil and gas drilling, geothermal drilling, and horizontal directional drilling (HDD), mud agitator are frequently used. We need to extend its service life through daily maintenance during use. So what are the maintenance methods for oilfield drilling agitators during their use? Today we will discuss about it.
1. Maintenance methods during the use of oilfield drilling mixers:
1). After it is put into normal operation about 5 days, all the lubricating oil in the gearbox should be drained, the gearbox should be cleaned, replaced with clean lubricating oil, and lubricated once in 6 months.
2). The staff checks the reducer through the oil mark to see if the amount of lubricating oil in the gear box is sufficient. If the lubricating oil is insufficient, the lubricating oil of the same grade must be added.
3). When testing the machine, mainly observe whether the whole machine is running smoothly and whether the noise is too large. If there is any abnormality, it should be stopped immediately for inspection. After the fault is eliminated, it can be put into normal operation.
4). Check the sealing condition of the oil drain plug and whether there is oil leakage. If there is leakage of lubricating oil, the plug must be tightened.
5). Before testing the machine, check whether the connection parts are loose, and tighten if necessary.
2. Introduction to the application of oilfield drilling mixer:
The mud agitator is a mud solids control system for continuous and reliable drilling of the drilling fluid in order to maintain the uniformity of the drilling fluid and suspend the solid phase particles. The mud mixer is mainly used for the stirring and mixing of drilling fluid to prevent the solid phase particles of the drilling fluid from depositing in its tank circulation system, so that the performance of the circulating drilling fluid is stable and the mixing is uniform.
