1. Before using the newly assembled centrifugal sand pump or the centrifugal sand pump that is put into use again after being out of service for a long time, carefully check the lubrication and the connection of the moving parts, and first fill the seal cavity and the bearing cavity with lubricating oil. Never allow foreign objects in the pump cavity.

2. If the liquid level in the circulation tank is lower than the inlet of the pump, the centrifugal sand pump should be shut down and restarted after the tank is filled with drilling fluid to avoid cavitation damage to the pump.

3. In the cold winter or when the operation is to be terminated for a long time, unscrew the screw plug under the pump casing and let go of the drilling fluid in the pump casing to prevent the drilling fluid from condensing and affecting the next use.

4. The temperature rise of the pump bearing and packing should be checked frequently. Generally, the temperature rise should not exceed 40°C (total temperature: ambient temperature + 40°C).

5. When abnormal noise occurs during operation, the pump should be stopped immediately, and the mud sand pump should be started after troubleshooting.
