The impeller of the mud sand pump is fastened to the pump shaft and installed in the pump casing. The pump shaft is connected to the motor and directly driven by the motor to provide power. When the pump shaft drives the impeller to rotate, the blades push the water body on the one hand, and at the same time drive the water body to rotate to produce centrifugal effect. The water body produces flow and increases pressure under the action of the thrust and centrifugal force of the blades. The water flows into the impeller in the axial direction and then flows out obliquely along the blades. When the speed of the pump is constant, the pressure head and flow rate are related to the diameter of the impeller.

Maintenance and maintenance of mud sand pump:

a. Regularly check the condition of the connecting pipeline. It is necessary to ensure that the connecting pipeline is highly sealed, otherwise cavitation will occur and affect the service life of the pump;

b. Prohibit long-term operation of the pump under cavitation conditions;

c. Regularly check the operation of the pump, and prohibit long-term operation of the motor over current when the pump is running at flow rate;

d. The pump should be supervised by a dedicated person during operation to avoid accidents;

e. The bearing should be lubricated every 500 hours of pump operation to ensure excellent bearing lubrication;

f. After long-term operation of the pump, if the noise and vibration of the unit increase due to mechanical wear, the unit should be stopped for inspection, and the vulnerable parts and bearings can be replaced if necessary.

g. The mechanical seal lubrication should be clean and free of solid particles, and it is strictly forbidden to work the mechanical seal under dry grinding conditions;

h. Rotate the pump (motor) several times before starting, so as to avoid sudden start and cause the sealing ring to break and damage.
