The treatment process of the oil-based mud treatment system
Time: 2023-07-19 Source: HL Petroleum Author: hlsolidscontrol
The oil-based mud treatment system is mainly used to deal with cuttings and waste generated during the drilling process. The treatment process of the oil-based mud treatment system is as follows:
1. The drilling fluid mud is transported to the drilling cuttings dryer. In the drilling cuttings dryer, cuttings and solid waste are spun dry to remove excess liquid.
2. The processed drilling fluid mud is transported to the high-speed drilling fluid centrifuge. In the centrifuge, the liquid and solids are further separated, the solid particles are separated by centrifugal force, while the liquid is reinjected into the mud circulation system.
3. The waste after the processing process, including dry cuttings and solid waste, is transported to the cuttings bin for subsequent processing and disposal.
Through these treatment steps, the oil-based mud treatment system can effectively treat the waste generated during the drilling process, improve the quality of drilling fluid mud, ensure the smooth progress of drilling operations, and reduce the impact on the environment.
