The composition of the oil-based mud treatment system
Time: 2023-07-19 Source: Solids Control System Author: hlsolidscontrol
The composition of the oil-based mud treatment system mainly includes the following equipment:
1. High-speed drilling fluid centrifuge (with screw pump): used to separate solid particles in drilling fluid so that they can be recycled. The high-speed drilling fluid centrifuge separates the solid particles from the liquid through centrifugal force, and is equipped with a screw pump for conveying the liquid.
2. Drill cuttings dryer: used to deal with cuttings (rock debris) and solid waste generated during drilling. Cuttings dryers spin wet cuttings dry so they can be collected and processed.
3. Dosing device: used to add necessary chemical agents to the drilling fluid to maintain the performance and stability of the mud.
4. Screw Conveyor: Used to convey dry cuttings and solid waste from the cuttings dryer to the cuttings bin or other collection container.
5. Cuttings box: used to collect and store processed cuttings and solid waste for subsequent processing and disposal.
The oil-based mud treatment system is processed by recycling. This treatment eliminates the need for drilling crews to dig mud pits, saving resources and reducing drilling costs. At the same time, through effective treatment and disposal of waste, it also helps to protect the environment and reduce the impact on natural ecology.
