Hello, everyone! Today, I'll introduce a piece of equipment used in oil drilling for solid control and separation – the drilling fluid centrifuge, also known as a horizontal spiral decanter centrifuge.

The drilling fluid centrifuge is one of the essential components for solid-liquid separation in drilling fluid systems. Typically installed as the final stage of the solid control system, it is utilized for treating non-weighted drilling fluids. It can effectively remove harmful solid particles with a size greater than 2 micrometers, eliminate excess colloidal material in drilling fluids, control viscosity, and recover barite. Additionally, it handles the underflow from cyclones, recovers liquid phase, and minimizes the waste of freshwater or oil. Furthermore, the centrifuge serves as an ideal equipment for treating waste drilling fluids, preventing environmental pollution.

Model of this centrifuge is LW450×1000 medium-speed centrifuge. This centrifuge is mainly composed of a drum, a spiral propeller, a collection box, a main motor, an auxiliary motor, a differential, and an explosion-proof electrical control box.

Its main working principle involves drilling fluid entering the hollow shaft of the spiral propeller through the feed pipe, then flowing into the inner wall of the drum. The spiral propeller pushes the fluid towards the discharge hole at the smaller end, where it is expelled. Clean drilling fluid is discharged as overflow from the overflow port at the larger end of the drum.

These centrifuges are customized for our foreign clients, with a large processing capacity of up to 50m³/h. The main motor power is 37KW, the auxiliary motor power is 7.5KW, and a well-known brand is selected for the differential, equipped with overload protection for stable performance and reliable quality!

In addition to the 450 model, we can also manufacture various models such as 355, 500, and 600. The maximum speed can reach 3200 revolutions per minute, meeting the mud processing needs of oilfield drilling and other industries. Alright!
