The function of thedrilling fluid gun is to rely on the high-speed fluid flow generated by the nozzle of the gun body to impact the solid phase deposited at the bottom of the drilling fluid tank to suspend it. At the same time, when the agitator is shut down for a period of time, the deposited solid phase bury the impeller and needs to be restarted, the drilling fluid gun can eliminate part of the resistance torque when the agitator is started, which provides a reliable guarantee for the normal operation of the agitator.

Drilling Fluid Gun Classification

Fixed drilling fluid guns are widely used in drilling fluid tanks of foreign solids control systems. They are installed at two diagonals about 200mm from the bottom of the tank. The nozzles are parallel to the longitudinal tank wall of the drilling fluid tank, forming The rotation of the drilling fluid layer, such as the drilling fluid gun set in the solids control system of the American Ideal drilling rig, is a fixed drilling fluid gun.

Rotary drilling fluid guns are divided into two types: manual adjustment and spin type. Manual adjustment drilling fluid guns can be divided into swing type and rotary type. The rotary drilling fluid gun needs to be fixed on the top of the drilling fluid tank, the gun rod is deep in the drilling fluid tank, and the nozzle is 200 ~ 300mm away from the bottom of the drilling fluid tank. The rotation of the drilling fluid gun forms the rotation of the drilling fluid layer to achieve the purpose of stirring.
