HL Petroleum Ships HQJ250×2-100×12 Mud Cleaner to Henan Drilling Site – 240 m³/h Desander Desilter I

Xi’an, China – September 2026​ — HL Petroleum (Henglian Petroleum Equipment Co., Ltd.) has completed factory assembly, no-load test and painting inspection of one set of HQJ250×2-100×12 mud cleaner​ and dispatched it to a drilling fluid solids control project in Henan, China. The unit is a second- and third-stage drilling mud cleaner combining one 10-inch desander hydrocyclone, twelve 4-inch desilter hydrocyclones and an HZS604 underflow shale shaker on a single skid, with a rated capacity of 240 m³/h​ and 15–40 μm fine solids separation.
A mud cleaner (also called a desander and desilter integrated machine) sits after the primary shale shaker in the drilling fluids circulation system. It cuts harmful 15–74 μm solids, returns cleaned liquid to the active pit, and lowers new mud makeup by 20–30% compared with separate desander/desilter layout.

The shipped HL Petroleum mud cleaner integrates three functions in one compact frame:

• Underflow shale shaker​ – HZS604 linear motion shaker, 3-panel hook-strip screen 1050×700 mm, dewaters hydrocyclone underflow and recovers barite/liquid

Drilling mud enters the manifold, splits to desander and desilter groups, overflow returns to the circulating system, underflow drops onto the bottom shaker for final dewatering. This 3-in-1 design saves tank-top space and shortens piping versus split desander + desilter + separate screen.
