Before starting the equipment, we should first determine whether the spray pump is in normal condition to ensure that there will be no sudden failure after starting.
Before starting, we should first turn the pump shaft by hand to observe and ensure that the spray pump runs flexibly and without friction. Secondly, we can fill the pump body and the inlet section pipeline with water to exhaust the air to prevent idling. If the spray pump idles for more than 5 seconds, it will cause damage to the machine seal.
When the spray pump is ready to start, you can start the spray pump first, and then gradually open the gate valve to the required amount. If noise or other abnormal phenomena are found during the startup process, you should stop the machine immediately for inspection.
During the daily use of the spray pump, the various parts of the pump will wear and age. Therefore, daily inspection and maintenance are also very important. The most important thing is the lubrication of the bearings. The bearings are usually lubricated with general lithium-based grease. Pay attention to replacing the grease every 1500 hours of operation.
When used in winter, due to the low temperature and severe cold in the northern region, the fluid freezes and expands, causing damage to the spray pump. Therefore, every time you stop using it in winter, you should pay attention to clearing the water in the pump to prevent damage to the pump body.
