Process protection line and function of centrifugal pump

In normal operation, in order to prevent the centrifugal pump body from being damaged, different process protection lines are designed according to different use conditions, which are used to ensure the normal operation of the centrifugal pump.
When the centrifugal pump is in operation, the warm pump line should be set according to the change of its applicable temperature. When the temperature of the conveying medium is higher than 200℃, in order to ensure the safe use of the centrifugal pump, a DN20~25 warm pump line should be set.
When the centrifugal pump is in operation, the flow line should be set according to the change of the conveying flow. When the flow is lower than 30% of the rated flow, in order to avoid safety problems of the centrifugal pump, a small flow line should be set;
When the centrifugal pump conveys liquids with a saturated vapor pressure higher than atmospheric pressure at room temperature or liquids in a bubble point state, a centrifugal pump balance line should be set to prevent cavitation of the centrifugal pump.
When the outlet main valve of the centrifugal pump is closed during trial operation or abnormal operation, it is still in operation, reflecting the bypass line.
When a centrifugal pump is conveying a high pour point or high freezing point liquid that solidifies at room temperature, its standby pump and pipeline should be equipped with an anti-condensation line to prevent the standby pump and pipeline from being blocked.
For positive displacement pumps such as electric reciprocating pumps, gear pumps and screw pumps, a safety valve line is set on the outlet side. When the outlet pressure exceeds the set pressure value, the safety valve trips and the fluid returns to the pump inlet pipe, thereby ensuring the safe operation of the centrifugal pump.
