Why do we need to use solids control equipment in oil drilling engineering
I believe everyone knows that drilling fluid is the blood of the entire oil drilling system, and drilling fluid is very expensive. (5) Suspended rock cuttings and weighting agent. Reduce the sedimentation speed of cuttings to avoid sand sticking.
(6) It can sink sand and rock debris on the ground.
(7) Effective transmission of hydraulic power. Transmit the required power of the downhole power drilling tool and the hydraulic power of the drill bit.
(8) To bear part of the gravity of the drill pipe and casing. The buoyancy of the drilling fluid on the drilling tool and casing can reduce the load of the lifting system during tripping.
(9) Hydraulic crushing of rocks. The high-speed jet formed by the drilling fluid through the nozzle can directly break or assist in breaking the rock.
