Knowledge about the mud tank subsea valve of oilfield drilling

With the application and development of mud solid control system in oil drilling operation, the development of multifunctional components of mud solid control system has been greatly improved. As an indispensable and important equipment in mud solid control equipment, the mud tank improves the efficiency of oil production operation. As a supporting device of mud tank, the subsea valve of mud tank indirectly improves the working efficiency of mud tank, and then improves the working efficiency of oilfield drilling rig.

The subsea valve has a V-shaped sealing surface (the width of the sealing surface is not less than 30mm), the subsea valve is sealed, the switch is active, and each subsea valve can be sucked in for a separate sealing test. The size of the suction port and the discharge port is the same; the subsea valve screw is made of stainless steel, the valve stem is stiff, and the subsea valve cleans the welding slag in the valve after installation. The butterfly valve has a rated pressure of 1.6Mpa, and the handle is more than 50mm above the tank surface. Using a subsea valve, each subsea valve is equipped with a set of spare seals.

The bottom mud tank discharge valve (bottom valve) includes an outer tube, a connecting rod, a connecting pipe, a thread, a connecting pipe on the bottom side of the outer tube, a connecting rod sleeve outer tube, a connecting rod connected to the outer tube with a thread, and a connecting rod. The sealant, the sealant seat and the mosaic seal are set at the bottom of the outer tube. The valve seat is an inner bevel cone structure, and the sealant surface and the valve seat and the valve seat contact surface are the same slope, and the slope slope sealant is fixed by two circular metal plates above and below; the connection part between the outer tube and the screw outer tube is above the tank surface.

Improved the sealing performance of the submarine valve itself, the conical sealing structure reduces the axial bearing capacity of the screw to the sealant by about 20%, thereby extending the service life of the sealant, and the connection part of the screw outer tube and the outer tube is higher than the tank surface to meet the requirements of rapid maintenance.
