The drilling fluid is first pumped into the cyclones from the inlet manifold by the centrifugal pump. Due to pump pressure, the mud rotates rapidly in the cyclones, and the liquid and solids in the drilling fluid are separated by centrifugal force. Subsequently, solid particles are discharged from the bottom of the cyclones, while the liquid overflows from the top of the cyclones. The overflow mud returns to the circulation system, and the solids in the bottom flow are further screened and discharged outside the tank by the vibrating screen.
